Lorelai was born into a overprotective family, consisting of only her mother, Falael, and herself. They were located on the outskirts of the Stygian Hollow. Her mother was extremely withholding and protective, not allowing Lorelai to leave the house unless for chores and keeping her under a strict schedule. As Lorelai grew older, Falael's efforts to keep her inside and the restrictions she set in place only increased Lorelai's desire to venture outside. She had only one journey outside, and it was short-lived, but she found a necklace by a creek and gleefully took it home. She didn't wear it, but kept it inside a drawer, to keep her mother from asking questions.
Out of respect for her mother, she withheld her growing desire to leave for as long as she could, though would tend to venture out a bit far while doing outside chores.
As she grew, Falael taught her of Luara, who Lorelai grew more and more fascinated by. If she was feeling unwell, she would sit beneath a window built into the ceiling, draped with vines and leaves, and hug her knees to her chest as she felt herself be replenished by the moonlight. When she turned 18, Lorelai hatched a plan to escape. While her mother slept, she slipped away through the window she used to sit under, leaving flowers and her necklace behind. She now ventures around, seeking out a place to live as well as new places to venture.
Overwhelmed by the sounds around her and the sudden new persons appearance, she startled backwards for a moment, eyes widening in response. It took a moment to register in her mind that this individual meant her no harm. "Hrm.. A-Adventure, I suppose!" Lorelai said, straightening her posture as she brightened up a bit. "I'm just passing through. Might I ask the same of you?" She asked with a hint of a grin, crossing her hands behind her back as she leaned forwards. "Well, I suppose it's quite wonderful. It's the biggest I've seen so far!" She remarked, "A bit too crowded, though."
