    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When you use your own IRL knowledge in stead of the knowledge your character would actually have. for example if my character wouldn't know if a food item was edible but my real self would because i read the lore.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Forcing an action on another player. for example walking up to someone and just saying "i attack you and cripple your legs, you are unable to move" without letting the other player get a say in it.

Antonio used to be a normal kid living in a well-off family, but when Axios ended his family lost almost all of their wealth.

Now his family was in Atlas with only just enough money for housing and slight amounts of food. Wanting to save his family from poverty Antonio set out to improve his hidden talent: cooking.

Antonio wanted to find ways to use magic in his cooking to creat culinary masterpieces never seen before. His father had always told him stories about magic but he never thought he would actually learn it some day but now he needed to do it for his parent's sake.

He is easily distracted which often hinders him from making progress on his quest but when he focuses he can prove quite useful. When someone talks badly about his cooking he will however often lose his cool and try to confront them which usually does not end well for Antonio becuase of his lack of fighting ability.

Antonio also cares a lot about his hygiene when in a kitchen and will often force people to clean their hands before entering, even when it is not his kitchen that he is in.

Physical Description: Brown short hair, about 1.8 meters tall, brown eyes, light skin, quite lanky, very clean, good posture, usually looks happy, walks in an energetic way
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

  • Your character cannot start with any magic. It is unclear whether he has any or not based on the application. I am leaning more towards he is looking for it, rather than currently practicing it. You don't necessarily have to change anything on that end, I just want to ensure you are in the proper mindset about magic in general when it comes to LotC.
  • Your character is very unique, I must say, and the fact further expand on that. Though I would suggest perhaps taking out the part about his favorite magic, and adding in that he is not trained to fight whatsoever. A fault is necessary to show a balanced and interesting character and while you've already produced one within an earlier section of the application, I just need it added to that section and you'll be set.
