    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: To me metagaming is when there is almost a combination of physical you and gaming you knowledge of things that might happen or of just something basic that might not go along the line of roleplaying. I liked the examples that were used in the wiki page about being in a discord server and irl you see that there is going to be an attack or some sort of strategy talk, that would be Meta because your rp character wouldnt know about any of that unless I guess they were mindreaders or something. I think in certain situations Meta can be tasteful by just spicing up lore but I don't think it should be used all the time because then again someone could combine meta and power gaming and just emote something not fair just because they saw someones plans on discord for instance.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is pretty much just having godlike abilities per say, like something in real life we are not able to do ourselves but seem to happen in roleplaying games. It seems to not very sportsmanlike because in rp yes many things are possible but just coming something so outlandish that there is no way to work around it is not very acceptable. An example that was giving in the wiki was a situation of someone emoting but the cut off another players head instantly instead of attempting to cut off their head.

Ooame admires this warm welcome but is a little nervous being approached by a stranger even if he is this well presenting.  She wants to make friends though so she sucks up the anxiety and actually wants to hear what this man has to say, maybe he will point me to the most mouthwatering food or take me to see a nice view of the water from a high point on a hill or building.
