During a stormy night, Théresa Lavigne's first child was born. It was a miracle. Théresa couldn't have children. She sat down on the beach every night to talk to the ocean. Théresa always thought the ocean was listening to her. She told the ocean how much she wanted a baby, whether it was a girl or a boy, she didn't care less, if only she had a child. Not much later, Théresa became pregnant. And there she was in her house on the beach, Théresa gave birth to a beautiful girl. She had dark Hazel eyes, brown hair and dimples in her cheeks. Océane is her name. She was named by her mother after the ocean because she thought the ocean caused her to get pregnant.

Océane de Chatillon, the daughter of Eliot de Chatillon a famous artist in Providence. When she was little, she used to go to her father's studio to draw and paint because that's what she liked to do. Her father was her greatest example. How could someone who is half blind have become so successful in art? How her father became successful in art? Well simple, her father was always crazy about drawing and painting but one day he was blinded when he was little on his right eye. His life collapsed. He thought he could never paint again, but he persevered and didn't give up. He went out of his way to make his dream come true and to continue his passion. Nothing stopped him, and that's why she admired him so much.

She saw how people admired his paintings so much, how people became very happy with his paintings. That brought her a smile on her face. That's what she wanted to do, to make people happy, to achieve her passion like her father's. Her father gave her a very beautiful and antique easel for her 18th birthday that she could paint on. It was her father's easel when he got it from his father. Eliot believed that she would achieve much more than he had achieved because he saw it in her. So young and so talented. A few years later, her father was blinded by both his eyes. He couldn't see anything now and became seriously ill. On his deathbed he gave her the key to her studio and his last words to her were "Don't let anyone stand in your way of your passion and yourself,". That broke her heart. She couldn't take it anymore and stopped painting and drawing because it was reminiscent of her father. But then she thought of what her father told her on his deathbed: "Don't let anyone stand in your way of your passion and yourself." and she continued with her passion.

Not much later, her mother died, too. Because she couldn't have children and still had one, she became weaker and weaker after the birth of her first daughter. Now that her husband has died, she didn't get any better. Océane's life collapsed. Her beloved parents both died. To distract her from the path she started drawing and painting and she forgot all her worries. Everyone loves her, not because her father was an artist but because she was so kind and grateful and adorable. She teaches art to the kids. The more she did something with art, the closer she felt to her father. She has a good relationship with the dwarves, because since both her beloved parents died, the dwarves were always there for her. Purely because they've never seen such a nice girl. She is now part of the Kingdom of Haense.
