    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information obtained out of a roleplay scenario to your benefit in a scene. Example; Knowing another characters age, name, race, and favourite sweet before you met them in character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is writing in a way to prevent other players interact with you, or the world around you. Examples being; landing every hit without letting the opponent dodge, instant-killing people, claiming to be the most powerful/smart/magical, ignoring any damage/effects inflicted to your character

Bertol would have to take a minute to adjust to the magnificent sight before him, making it entirely likely he didn't notice the gentleman until he spoke. With his brows raised in surprise, Bertol replied. "Than- Oh, you hadn't finished." His tone became playful. "I came here to buy goods, why else do people visit the market?"
