    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when a player knows something that the character doesn't/shouldn't, like say I know the name of my friend Kolt, I would still have to ask (in character) what his character's name is
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when a person in roleplay over-steps their bounds and says something that can't be countered: an example of Powergaming would be: "Paelias chops of Haymin's head in one slash of his sword," Whereas the opposite of the same scenarion would b

Paelias is a previous farmer’s child who grew up just outside the town of Adria and joined this ragtag group of adventurers when he turned 18. Together they trained him to fight and since then he has been lone-wolfing the lands and has eventually come across a man by the name of Haymin Elmpool, who has so far trained him to do what he has to in order to adventure properly. He is the best hunter from his farm, he has come a long way to get where he is today, and he doesn’t want his reputation tarnished by his past. In his teens, he was a fairly shy person, not really talking to many people and just doing what he needed to survive the bullying of the time. He has since grown out of this and become an extrovert, making many friends over the time of his journeys.

Physical Description: Paelias is a black haired man with a dark green cloak with a gold signet, a shield obscuring the signet slightly. He keeps a bow and a shortsword
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Hello! First welcome to the server, i’ll first say your application is good and just needs a few changes to be accepted.

 

  1. The first one is your definition for power-emoting/gaming needs to be more in-details if you want to find an example you can see what we mean here is the wiki thread: https://wikia.lordofthecraft.net/index.php?title=Power-emoting .
  2. The second piece of information is not including a bit of server lore, history or previous events within the biography. This can be names such as your nation capital. You’re required to have at least one within your biography, to find this information you can find it here: https://wikia.lordofthecraft.net/index.php?title=Main_Page . I do understand you’ve posted a family name ‘Elmpool’ though this isn’t enough.
