You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example: "expecting me huh? ..you sure?" *he'd flash a friendly smirk before making himself comfortable in the nearest seat* "Alright, I'd love to talk about my story, I'm half Dark Elf, and half Wood Elf, mother was a dark elf she cared for me as best she could before her death, a unknown illness took her 200 years too soon. my father died before i was born, or so my mother had told me, honestly I a m unsure if hes actually gone.., forgive me for the sorrowing mood- *he skips past the convo* a current goal is- *he pauses*...I want to be someone people adore, I crave friendship, love, and more." *he clears his throat* " You may call me Keir, its the name i give to those who I do not know if they are friend or foe, I'm sure you understand. I come from a small underground not well known town, the name isn't important. I was an orphan as you can tell from my earlier statement about my parents, though my community raised me after my mother passed when i was...around the human equivalent of...i think it converts to 13? anyways, they taught me right from wrong and so on, but *he pauses taking out a canteen and taking a sip of what smells like herbal tea*...every bird must leave their nest, so I have been traveling...almost ehh two months now." *he would offer a sip of tea to the hag as an act of kindness* " its lavender and lemon, honey for a little sweetness. cant have a conversation on a dry mouth now can you?" *he flashes the kind smirk again as he waits patiently for her to take the canteen*
