How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: meta gaming is when your character have knowledge that they should not have such as if you read all the lore on monsters but your character had never encountered and you encountered one even through the character should not know about it you roleplay as if the character does
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: power gaming is performing actions that are either not physically possible or not letting other players react such as if you strike at someone and roleplay it hitting instead of letting the other person emote to block or evade the strike
