Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Haytham takes a glance around and slowly crouches down before settling in fully into the cushion. He takes a deep breath before slowly getting the words out… “Oh, hello. I’m Haytham, Haytham Kingsley. Can’t say I have a particular reason for being here, this town just seemed like a nice spot to rest.” He leans back a little bit, easing up before continuing. “My story ain’t that special, I’ve got a few siblings, an older and younger brother, and we left home not too long ago.” His face tenses up a little, and reluctantly he continues. “You could say that life at home… was a little complicated. Our family was once a respectable lot, but times changed. Couldn’t take it anymore, so one after the other we left, trying to make something of our lives out here.” Haytham sighs, closing his eyes and then looking back up at the Hag. His arm reached towards his back, bringing the cloak in front of him. A large symbol of a scaly beast adorns the cloak. “This symbols’ the last thing from my past, I don’t know where I’ll go from here, but this symbol followed me all this way...”
