Dakkon was born into an affluent, but lesser dwarven couple in the city of Kal'Evraal, and was given all the luxuries in life. Growing up, he was at the top of his classes, excelling in strategy games and contests of strength. He was a fast learner and always loved a challenge. He continued to excel in the things he tried, and when he became of age he decided whis path. He overcame the obstacles and challenges that came in his way, and quickly rose in strength to attempt to join the guard. during this time he met who would become the love of his life, Glouinda. It wasn't long before he was wed to her , and though young, had a family of four beardlings.
One day, after a few years of bliss, Something happened deep in the mines. Something awoke from the darkness and mutated Dwarves poured out of the earth and began slaughtering the workers and sentries posted. The alarm went off, every dwarf was either running for their families or running to defend their city, Dakkon sought to protect them all, so he gathered hisarms and followed the guard an outlying hall. The fighting was tremendous and many were slaughtered until it was just Dakkon and the hordes from the deep. Dakkon held back a main hall to the city as best he could, with blow after blow from his axe, until the roof of the cavern caved in above him, and his body slammed against the stone wall and he blacked out.
When he awoke the air was silent, bodies strewn around him like dust upon the earth. A sudden realization occurred to him and he rushed back to his home. He slammed the door open to find a horrific sight upon him. Torn apart pieces of clothes and armor strewn about, blood, and no sign of his family in sight. Dakkon slumped to his knees and cried-- everything he knew and loved was gone. Anger quickly filled his heart and he vowed to become strong enough to rid the world of all the darkness. He was found by a patrol of Legionnaires from the capitol and was brought back with them to the infirmary with the other survivors. He has never forgotten the Khorvad forsaken ruins of his city, and once his vow is fulfilled, forces like that will never come to harm his people again. He awaits the time when he has proven his worthiness so he can see his family in Khaz’A’Dentrumm, but to die now would mean he would fall in disgrace-- letting his home fall and never seeing his loved ones again.(edited)
He now travels the world in hopes of vanquishing evil, trying to create a new life in Urguan and becoming stronger so that one day he may face his demons.
Dakkon stares at the man with a cold look in his eyes. “ Manling, you best to be minding your own business, lest I be finding it for ya. You should know better than to meddle in the affairs of dwarves.” He slowly moves towards him an attempt to be intimitdating . “ I’m sure we have an understanding, eh manling? ”. Dakkon backs off ever so slightly “ Now leave me to my business.” He walks off slowly and mutters under my breath “ pitiful manling.”
