Tharchak was born in 1668, in Kal'Tarak. He was given the name Silvereye because his left eye was blind when he had born. He is more of a reader than a fighter or miner. When he was a child, he became interested in art and music. He moved out when he was 100 years old, and wandered around the realm trying to find a home, but decided that Dwarven cities weren't so bad. Currently he lives in Kal'Tarak and is doing some research on other races.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
