Born in Okarn'thilln during the year 1607 to prize fighter named Duron, and his wife Amelia. Raised up in a relatively stable household, he grew up his fathers pride as his first born- Hopefully the sign of more to come. For the first ten years of his life he received a typical education, but once he started growing a bit more his father began teaching him things of his own. Growing up being trained to make money with his hands, he didn’t quite enjoy the reinforced curriculum and missed the fluidity of the dances his mother taught him. It was this thought that spurred his first personal enterprise, developing his own fighting adaptive and fluid style so he could enjoy it more. Not much of a fan of fighting anyway, at the age of around nineteen he does street performances and theatrical mock battles to earn money, being encouraged and discouraged by his mother and father respectively.

He catches the eye of a travelling monk, who talks to him after a performance and suggests they could learn much from each other if he would accompany him. At twenty five the young elf is yearning for adventure, and after a quick farewell to his folks he takes off with the man (Who introduces himself as Frederick soon after). They grow to have a mutual friendship and a two way student-mentor relationship, as Thalion shares his acrobatic and unique take on his father’s ancestors own style with Frederick, who in turn teaches him his own nuanced style. Through the following decades they perform and work together, honing their craft. It was only when Frederick turned to old age that Thalion knew mortality, as he spent the following nine years supporting his then sickly friend.

Shortly following Frederick’s death, Thalion is besides himself with grief. It is only with the thought that his friend wouldn’t want him to stop living life that allows him to continue his travels, as he is currently heading to the Dominion of Malin
