Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"My... Story?" Koschei repeated slowly, seemingly quite hesitant at the idea of sharing any personal details with a stranger. He eyed the entrance of the tent, quickly wagering his options before prevailing with a heavy sigh. "Well, not like I have anywhere else to be." He mumbled, politely settling down on the cushion the old woman had gestured to. "My story is rather... Boring, I'm afraid." He spoke softly, "I didn't have a very interesting upbringing, I was orphaned from a very young age. Spent some time in an orphanage before I decided to venture out and explore the world completely on my own."
Koschei fiddled with his hands, trying to remember any other important detail from his birth up to the present day. "I was just a wandering traveler for years before I became of age and decided to settle down and find a stable job. And now I'm here." He smiled awkwardly, a bit defeated that there was not much else to add. No tales of an epic journey nor any recount of significant heroic duties or wondrous achievements alike, all of his experiences have been normal thus far. "As I said... Nothing out of the ordinary."
