Lil'ja Ash'en was born and raised in the Dominion of Malin where she grew up around nature, and came to love it. She lived happily with her mother , as her father was always unknown to her because he left when she was 5.
Lil'ja heard many great stories of her father and how well he fought so she wanted to follow in his footsteps. At that she decided to travel and try to learn all she could. One time when she was around 16 she met a man named Balin who taught her all he knew and took her back to the city he lived in called Halsworthy. Balin became like Lillies father figure. and since then shes spent her life around him.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
