Tyberius grew up in the Highlander city of Senntisten. Born to a family who was renowned for fairness, honor, and combat prowess. Countless stories had been chronicled about the Cyanblade family. Though certainly a minor noble house, they had a rich and proud history of fathers and sons who fought for God, Emperor, and country. Unfortunately for Tiberius, however, he was not smitten by the rich histories of his family, nor was he particularly interested in upholding their values as a house. Instead, he was rather bookish. He kept to himself, reading about the fantastic stories that never existed. While his brothers were learning how to duel in a court dispute, he was sneaking away for a book under candle light. Particularly, he was interested in Arcanism. The ability to manifest his imagination was, perhaps in some irony, the target of many daydream imaginings.
The pragmatism and competence of his family left Tyberius growing up feeling quite inadequate. Life in Senntisten was good, and afterall, he had his imagination. His brother's grew to be great knights and leaders, sure, but he had lived a thousand lives..... at least, that is what Tyberius told himself. And then one day, at a particularly extravagant party Tiberius dragged himself to, he witnessed a wonderful display of various magics from the court magicians. Seeing somebody manifest reality like that made Tyberius realize something: despite his in-depth knowledge, everyone around him was distinctly more magical than him. They all manifested their desires into this world, void-borne or not.
A deep anger took root in Tyberius. His complacency had led to a docile life of nothing in particular. Everything had to change. Tyberius took simple belongings with him, left not but a note for his mother, and set off to new lands. He would land in Atlas, Sutica. A place where he would be free to find the means to manifest..... well, he hasn't figured that out yet.
