    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: The best way to avoid powergaming is to try not to use words or actions that give a persona an advantage, in other words, you should try and act as neutral towards your character as possible. To even get the thought of powergaming out of someone's mind just keep in mind that powergaming does not tell a good story. Personas should have ups and downs wins and losses, powergaming unfairly leverages situations to be favorable which all in all, is just unfun and ruins the point of roleplay.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming disrupts fir roleplay because the metagamer is at a clear advatage. Their character has knowledge that they should not have which can lead to powergaming or foul roleplay that becomes unenjoyable for one side.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Eira glances around the tent then behind her at the entrance before locking eyes with the old lady as an amused smile appears, "Surely you must have me mistaken for someone else." She takes a few cautious steps towards the cushion, curiously placing her hand under one of the floating candles. "Though it is curious... What type of magic is this?"
