    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when the player uses their current knowledge and uses it to their advantage for example, if there was an incognito villian and the player already know that it was a villian, they would point out 'Hey that random dude is a villian everybody!'
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Power gaming is when a player always tries to make their character win for example, Bob would draw his bow taking aim and would kill [Player] instantly.

The 18 year old Edgar Larue, is quite naive but also curious and is always friendly. He always had messy hair and never decided to fix it. Edgar prefers not to wear any sort of armour and is always forgetful.

 

He was born in Sutica, he lived with his father who was an excellent swordsman and wanted Edgar to master the sword, he also wanted Edgar to be smart and tactical so that he could handle any sort of situation. Becoming 18 he stilled lived with his father eager to learn more on how to use a sword. Edgar wanted to learn about the history of his birthplace, Edgar , he knew some people had loved ones or families so he decided to become a semi-pacifist, although his father wasn’t pleased by this he still accepted Edgar as his son. Being semi-pacifist he never attacked anyone without a good reason, the only time he would fend for himself is when hes being attacked.

 

He wishes to learn more about ‘Arcas’ and other cities, towns or past wars. Being naive he always takes on any sort of quest without having second thoughts, most of the time he gets the job done but always comes back with cuts or bruises. Since his father was an excellent swordsman, his father trained him, but Edgar always forgot different moves or positions and became a terrible swordsman but still continues to practice. Edgar thought that he wasn’t a swordsman and maybe was more of an archer, when he put hands on a bow he was instantly confused not knowing how it functions.

 

If Edgar was to find anyone he would either wave at them or smile, being a friendly person he wanted to make as much friends as possible, but he knows people don’t want to befriend some random person he knows this but still continues.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
