Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Axel, visibly exhausted, and with a look of mild concern Sits on the cushion and says, "I am all but a poor lad looking for a way out of the tragedy that is my life." Axel sadly states. "My sister thinks of me with envy, and my brother Looks at me like I'm the reason for my family's downfall. The only one who has actually cared about me is my younger brother, who is terrified one day I will die in battle because I've taken mercenary work. My mother is Ill, and my father is deceased. I'm the only breadwinner for my family."
