    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: when a character completes a feet that is outside their possiblilities; such as claiming that you took out an army of the best warriors when you are nothing but a mere child with a ball

A dwarf hailing from the blackaxe clan. From a young age tought to fight to be able to best his foe in combat and have no fear while doing so. He has traveled over many mountains and fought many foes. He passed into adulthood at age 16 when beheading a orc who had just killed his mother and her unborn child. His father was killed in battle when he was a young boy so his sole loyalty is  to the blackaxe clan. Ready to fight and die in the line of combat for an ally. He is now ready to adventure and make a name for himself in this mighty land. His dream is to pursue riches and gold while eliminating all orcs from existence. The elves have helped Gimbly learn to master moving in silence so he can move stealthly towards all enemies and foe. Beware Gimbly has a deep passion for money and is very stubborn and quick to fight. You will rarely see Gimbly talking his way out of matters but more to fight his way. Hotheaded but a great ally and a truly loyal friend, as a friend you will see Gimbly is very outgoing and willing to help in any way possible even if it means his life.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Try to focus the powergaming definition on an interaction with another player, perhaps include an example of what you mean.
