Aralee came from a rich merchants family, but she was always pushed to fit the mold of a person that she couldn't. So she left both her life and identity, and from that point on she died as Vivien De Erren and was known as Aralee Nhorin. Dyed her hair, changed her name, and took the next ship away from her home. Away from Arcas, the only home she'd ever known. She hated staying in one place, and craved to see the world. When she was rich, she saw the world merely from her window and the books in her manor. "Sit straight, don't talk, play piano, read a book, learn to sew, sit still, etc" were the demands she heard every day since childhood, and she refused to be confined to one place ever again. So since then she'd been on the move, constantly traveling, pickpocketing valuables, and selling what she stole. This was her life, and she didn't need anyone else to be apart of it. Good thing she had a knack for charming people when she had to speak to nobles, how else would she be such a good saleswoman? ;)
I looked the man up and down, and smiled a smile I had faked everyday of my previous life. "What brings me to this city? Well, I traveled in hopes to find a bright young gentleman like you who might be interested to witness a few magic tricks I've been working on? It'll certainly only take a moment of your time". I then proceeded to show marveling tricks I had learned from Winn, slyly grabbing his golden clock watch from his trench coat's inner pocket. "Well sir, thank you so much for your time but I really must be off" I said as I quickly slipped past him and into the buzzing crowds in the market.
