Ink was born to a rich heartlander diplomat(father) and a Farfolk house maid(mother). They lived in a private estate on the outskirts of Reza. He was treated badly by his father and his half siblings. Inks father forced Canonism on him so when he rejected the religion his was severely punished. Instead of going to school like his siblings he would stay at home with his mother who was very ill. When he wasn’t helping his mother he would train with the estate guards who taught him how to shoot. A few days after he turn 14 his mother had died and he was kicked out by his father who only let Ink live with them because of his mother. The next 5 years Ink spent living on the streets and stealing to survive. Then one day while he was picking pockets he got caught stealing a book from an Elven scholar. The scholar and asked ink why he tried to steal the book. I said he stole it because he wanted to learn how to read. The scholar made a deal with Ink stating that he would teach him how to read as long as Ink would stop stealing. The scholar brought ink back to his home in Lareh'thilln and began to teach him to read common. One day when Ink was especially hungry he tried to steal an apple but got caught by the local guard and the scholar was notified. Ink was now 20 years old and was once again alone.
“I’ve come for what some may call wet work but you can just call it business.” I told him.
“ Well seeing as how you’ve come straight off a boat and are here for business, I can show you to one of this cities many Inn’s.” he offered. I accepted and he then guided me through the busy streets of the city. On the way to the inn we passed many roadside shops. We finally reached a place called “The Waxy Salmon” Tavern/Inn.
