Antifas was born a Wood Elf in the state of Laureh'lin. Both of his parents would perish when he was ten. Invading orcs and goblins breached the city's perimeters. They fought bravely, but ultimately were slain at the hands of the goblins. During the battle, he stole a horse and ran from the battle, riding for days before he grew weary and fainted. This event instilled a hatred of Orcs and Goblins in young Antifas' heart from a tender age.
He was found by a highlander shepherd, and he spent his childhood caring for the sheep of the man who found him. Since he was in the highlands, wolves roamed the lands. He had many encounters and defended the sheep with his staff. These encounters prompted him to train with both a bow and sword. Eventually, he outgrew his shepherding job, and was placed on a military post near a Raevir settlement, because the wild men grew more and more bitter of the conquest of their lands. In the skirmishes that occured, Antifas grew in combat skills. His elven heritage called to him, however, and he bade farewell to the highlanders, and attempted to return to his homeland via ship. His journey went awry, and they became lost. As supplies began to run low, they notice land. As they sail toward it, Antifas remembers an old folk song his father would sing about a land called Atlis. Here is where his story truly begins........
