    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: metagaming is when you use information gathered by your real self, to benifit your character in the game.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when you abuse the freedom of text, and do something that your character could not physically do, or not give your opponent a chance- for example, "My character sprints round yours and stabs yours in the back of the neck killing you"

Joseph was only 14 when his father passed, such a short time together. Joe's dad was the village chef, the best baker for hundreds of miles, the local pie guy. Their relationship was so strong, they did everything together, no mother in the household the boy and man were joined at the hip. Its all a memory now, Joseph learnt alot from his dad, how to cook, clean, and most importantly how to respect others. 
Joseph seeks to spread happiness amongst the people of Altas and keep his fathers memory close to him for his journey. 

Joseph has read stories of Kal'tarrak and the dwarves, The dominion and the elves and the orcs, and is keen to go exploring the lands to find out more about them, and share his fathers knowledge with the world.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
