    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information you know as a person, but not as a character. Metagaming would also be calling your friends for help using discord instead of ingame ways.

Meruem was born in a strict family in Elvenesse. His parents wanted him to become a great man standing high in the social hierarchy, but Meruem wanted nothing of this. A perfect life means for him living in freedom, not bound by laws and social standards. In his teenage years consisted of homeschooling. His parents always wished him to be like one of the High elves they look up to. When Meruem turned 18, but still got treated like a toddler, he decided to make a change. He decided it was time to take his fate in to his own hands and escape from the grasp of strict grasp of his parents. 

Sneaking out, with nothing more than his clothes he went on his way, in search for friends and freedom.

Character Race: Wood Elf
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 18
Physical Description: Lanky boy, about 190cm tall, weighs 75kg. He has dark red-ish hair with a man bun. He has an average build. He wears very neutral clothes.
Roleplay Scenario:

Read the scenario below this box and type out inside of this box how your character might respond. You must show an understanding of quoted dialogue and exposition throughout the scenario.

 

Meruem looks at the gentleman and says to him

"Oh, hey thank you, that's quite a question to ask a stranger. If you really want to know, I have none of those ambitious thoughts. But.. you look like a you know your way around here, would you like to show me around?" 

Meruem bounces froms his heels to his toes in excitement.

Your application has been put on pending, as there are changes needing to be made before you may be accepted, as follows:

 

  • Your Skin does not match your character’s race, as wood elves have darker skin and darker hair (browns or dark reds, mostly). Please fix this accordingly!
  • Your Roleplay Scenario Response is too short! It must be at least 4 sentences long and include at least one piece of dialogue in quotes, and one action!
  • Your Roleplay Scenario Response is written in first person! Please make sure to write in third person while talking about your character!
  • Your Roleplay Scenario Response must be written from only the perspective of your own character! Do not control the actions of the man who greets them, simply respond to their first words!

 

If you do not make these changes within 24 hours, your application will be denied. When you are finished, please send me a forum PM!

When joining, the bot may be down that normally automatically whitelists you after the acceptance of your application. So, please go into the wandering soul channel (#ws) and ask for a Community Team Member to accept you!
