    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is outside info in a role-play that normally should not be known during role-play. For example, using someones real life name in the game.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when your roleplaying is unfair and unrealistic. For example, "George sliced off Donald's leg"

Alanis Olora is a High Elf from the Silver State of Haelun’or. She has grown up here for all of the duration of her life. She is an only child and lived with her parents until 17 and left the house due to their differences.  Both of her parents follow the old way, both think very low of those who are half-breeds. Despite this, Alanis still tries to be friendly to everyone because she does not want to have any bad blood with anyone. When she was younger she liked to go to the Dominion of Malin and play with wood elves and some elves were half-breeds. Despite their label, she saw them as valid beings with feelings and value. Doing this set her apart from her parents and put a strain on their relationship. Thus, she left the house to explore the land. Alanis aspires to be a High Elf that will promote love and acceptance to all.

Physical Description: Short, long blonde hair, gray eyes, lots of gold jewelry, green clothes and brown boots.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
