    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is usung out of character knowledge to your advantage. If your character does not know something, you can't use that knowledge. This includes using TeamSpeak or Skype to ask for assistance from a friend.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is emoting action for another player. You cannot (in an RP situation) emote something like "and then i cut off both of Brad's legs and now he can never walk again." You have to allow them to rebuttle, as in, "I tried cutting off both of Brad's

Julian was born in the War Nation of Krugmar on the peninsula of Atlas. He is the son of Shamanistic aka Falum'lur  (my friend) who is a leader of the clan and a war hero. Julian grew quickly and became quite skilled in hand-to-hand combat and could have been even greater if not for the soft spot in his heart caused by a vision he had when exposed to a mind altering substance called Hallucinogenica. He was walking alone in a storm when a Farseer approached him from behind, slipped the hallucinogenicinto his pocket and whispered, "if you want to see the truth, eat this." He consumed the mysterious plant and what he saw next can only be described as a vision from the gods. In a flash he saw the past, present, and future of the Orcs. When he awoke, he had much more appreciation for life. Still young, he continues his search for meaning outside of war. Each day he wakes up with a smile and as he steps outside there is a distinct pep in his step taking him forward on to bigger and better things. Having seen much war as a young Orc, Julian searches for truth, justice, and the Orcish way. He enjoys spending his free time reading ancient texts, swimming, and playing with friends and animals. And he's only getting better.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

- Change Shamanistic to what their persona's name is so confusion is avoided

- Orcs typically aren't very good looking, as their ancestor Krug had his appearance deformed while fighting Iblees

- Orcs usually are quite belligerent and look for combat, explain why your persona is peaceful

- Maybe also include why your persona enjoys being near the water

- More detail, the better!
