Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
You perk your ears as you finally have your chance to shine, "Oh I see words of my achievements precede me. I'm here to sail in the river of economy" you boldly sit on the cushion and pat your knees " my story? surely you already know of Gimble of house Stonegold." you stand back up, puffing your chest, head high "risen from the depths of Kal'Varoth not through the masonry or forge, but by trade. through which even me, a lowly bastard son, accumulated immense wealth to start his commercial empire" your pupils peek downward hoping for a reaction, when finding none from the hag you step back "I can recognize an acute businesswoman when I see one, my wealth? it would be foolish to carry my immense liquidity with me. you better be careful madam, the river of economy will soon sweep this entire town" you say leaving hoping to avoid further confrontation.
(the instruction said third person but the example was in second, I went with what I was most comfortable with)
