Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Sere looked at the old woman with caution, however she reluctantly sat down. Her pupils scanned over the tatteted environment, gripping handfuls of her dress into her palms as if she didn't want it dirted. Normally, she would begin with questions- "who are you? How do you know me?, however Sere settled this interaction as fate.
"I am Sere. . .My story is lies in a bottom of a bucket. Im traveling to find my cousin, Delilah. She has traveled to. . I don't know where."
The girl formed a conflicting frown, squeezing the fabric of her dress as she continued to speak. Her words were spaced out in unease.
"I promised myself to never leave home, my saftey yet here i am. . .my mother and father shipped me off to live along my distant relatives. My mother was a Seamstress but her business didn't make much coin. .and my father well. ."
Her lips thinned into a sharp line, followed by a sigh.
"He was often gone for hunting, he only would come back months after a voyage to sell the meat and fur he gained. I enjoy the studies of plants and nature. .however im afraid what lurks in the dark. My goal is to find my cousin and bring her home to Ivoria. . . Quickly as possible."
