Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
The Adunian would lower the tent drape underneath his arm before greeting the old lady.
“Well that's quite the question to start with wise one.”
Orvin takes a seat in front of the old lady and lightens his posture in the seat. He grips his gloves slightly within its confines before looking at the old lady with constant eye contact.
“My name is Orvin Messol. I am 25 years of age and I come from a small coastal village not far from this town.” He fixes his posture, slightly leaning into the conversation. “ I've always had a keen eye for the physical characteristics of metal and ironwork. Call it an obsession or a hobby if you would. It did not take long for me to finish my Trial of Service. Everyone including my father knew that I was meant to be near a forge. Thus, I produced an axe for lumber that sufficed for the trials. Though I always think of improvements.”
Orvin shifts his weight, looking behind himself towards the tent entrance. “My story is just starting to be quite honest with you. I left my town to pursue crafting and to seek that thrill of adventure. It is my hope that I can, at some point, assist in the creation of armaments that will be utilized for times even after I.”
