"I will tell you my story and how I came to be. I was born into a village in the countryside, and my parents were scholars, and I grew up within libraries, and at a young age I saw a mage performing there at a circus, and from that day I wanted to do magic, but my father said, 'No son of mine will be performing magic in this household while I am alive,' and I responded with, Fine, if I cannot learn magic, then I am leaving this family." The following day, I grab whatever supplies I can get my hands on and then proceed to leave my old life behind. I happened to bump into a mage and asked if he could teach me magic. He responded with, 'I cannot teach you magic, but I can take you where you could learn it.' I responded, Please, I wish to be able to do such magical acts on my own. He agreed to take me to such a place, and I followed him, and he tried to rob me and leave me for dead, but what happened was unexpected: he fell over my head, and it knocked him unconscious, and' I ran off frightened and was nearly exhausted looking for the nearest guard. Luckily, I found one, and he arrested the false mage by putting cuffs on his wrists and carrying him over his shoulder. As a reward for telling him about the false mage, the guard gave me one of the robes of the false mages, and shortly afterwards, I arrived at the old hag's place, where I explained my story to he"r. 'Interesting story you have there,' she says. He says thank you and then proceeds to ask where the nearest place is where I could find someone who could do a job to gain some money. She points towards an adventurer guild with quests. He and I walked towards the local tavern; anticipation bubbled inside me. I hoped that taking on quests would not only help me earn some money but also lead me to uncover more about my mysterious past.
