Bantar was born to a small Highlander family that owned a rather small family farm outside of his hometown, some hours journey from the Kingdom of Haense. His parents, Catho and Marsi, raised him modestly, as they could not afford much more than that. Bantar’s education was paltry, as his need on the family farm rarely allowed him to attend the already-limited classes offered at the nearby town. He had a childhood friend that he met at that school, Rendell, that would eventually have a greater influence on him than he ever imagined. Rendell was the child of the local town officials, and having come from a poorer background, Bantar often felt out of his place around his friend, and he grew to become resentful and jealous of his friend’s almost-promised position in life. This experience is what would seat Bantar’s desire to rise to a higher position, but his limited means would inspire him to do whatever it takes to pursue wealth and power.
At the age of 17, Bantar’s mother died. Unable to deal with the growing demands of his father for him to eventually take over the family farm, he fled his home in search of his future. Over the last three years, he has merely subsisted, not yet finding his opportunity to implant himself in a greater situation. However, needing the help of others to survive these years, he has learned to deceive and convince others in order to meet his own ends. After all this time, Batar has decided to make way for the Kingdom of Haense, stubborn in his goal to find himself a position of trust with the court of King Andrew III, perhaps even an eventual position in the personally-picked Aulic Council. With the realm in constant flux, making note of the recent band of wars, The War of the Two Emperors and The Three Month War, Bantar is confident in fulfilling his ambitions through one means or another.

“Me?” Bantar asked, pointing a finger back at himself. “I did come here to find something I can’t elsewhere. Could you be someone that could help me with that? ” Bantar hesitantly asked the well-dressed gentleman.
