Igor Halvfoot was born to a dwarven family within the vast mountain ranges of urguan, the youngest of his siblings standing to gain nothing in the form of an inheritance. Thus as a youth he found himself being sent off to become an apprentice at a blacksmith so that he could, once older, have a profession which could yield him a livable income. His time as an apprentice was an arduous one, filled with early mornings and long days hammering slabs of iron and keeping the furnaces ablaze. The sot and smoke almost becoming apart of his skin. Eventually he grew older as all do and he decided that the life he had grown to know was not too little and too small for he was a big dwarf in a very small pond! So he packed his things and left in the search of glory and adventure, hoping to build a legacy that would withstand the sands of time.
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
Igor approached the chair that she had gestured towards, dropping a rugsack which he carried on his back before settling down, the clanging and rustling of various objects inside travelling across the room "I hail from Urguan and I want to become a legend!" the young and stout dwarf proclaimed as he sat down, pulling a churchwarden pipe from a smaller bag carried along his waistline, stuffing it with various greens and lighting it. He took long and slow puffs, getting a nice blaze which allowed him to smoke it without worrying about it dying out. He didn't feel like many words were warrented to describe his desire for it was actually, quite simple. "Now tell me, hag, where does one as my self-" he blew a large cloud of smoke in her direction "-go and find such adventures to bring forth such." He leaned back into his chair listening attentively...
