    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using knowledge the player has but the character would not have.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is basically playing to win and making a character more powerful in order to suit his benefit.

Read the scenario below this box and type out inside of this box how your character might respond. You must show an understanding of quoted dialogue and exposition throughout the scenario.

 

Titus not being very trusting puts on his confident look and says to him: "If you think you can haggle everyone that comes of this boat you are sorely mistaken" while dropping the bag he has in his left hand and reaching for the handle of the sword sheathed on his left hip. Waiting to see if the man continues to make any moves he starts drawing the first few inches of his sword.
