Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"Me? well" He said calmly, sitting on the cushion like this was normal."Im gonna be honest, im not an adventurer or like an explorer or something. The only reason im here is that" He makes a long pause, trying to find the rigth words. "Regret and shame. I used to live in a little and calm village on a beautifull island. I lived there all my life as well as my family" He makes another pause. "One day i meet this girl, she was all the things i wasnt, she was brave, she was curious, she was amazing" He says as he drinks some tea that the old woman gave him. "We grow together and she wanted to explore the world and its wonders. But she didnt want to leave me behind so she waited for me" He starts sobbing a little. "But i was an idiot and thanks to my own fear i always tell her that i wasnt ready yet.. until one day disaster struck, a storm so big and powerfull that almost wiped out all of us, but it didnt. It only taked some of us, a lot of us.. a month later i taked a boat and decided to sail into the unkown, for her"
