    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when someone uses outside or irl knowledge to influence their irp decisions, choices, understanding, etc. (Ex. someone finds out ooc info about a different character, and uses it irp, when their character wouldn't know)
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when someone pays no attention to power limits, character limits, restrictions, etc, when rping. Also known as Godmoding. (ex. making a mary sue character)

Rowan gazed around at the bazaar, admiring the variety of the shops, and the grandeur of the city. This was his destination. Turning his gaze to the gentleman who had called out to him, he gave a warm smile. "Thank you, sir. As much of the people you have probably encountered, I'm afraid I'm simply another adventurer." Bidding him farewell with a gentle wave, he ambled along the roads, not really looking for anything in particular.
