You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"You've been expecting me?" The elf mumbles questionably as they side eye the old hag inspecting them, but ultimately go towards the cushion to sit. "My story... I wanted to explore the world. I didn't have the most troublesome or ideal life, but I wanted to learn about the world around me, see something new you know?" Their gaze shifts to the suspended candles and back to the hag. "Alright... That's not the whole story, I want to help my parents. In truth, my mother is gravely ill and nothing back home seems to help. I want to find out what ails her, what could heal her!" The elfs explains with determination in their voice. "If I can find someone or anyone that could have the answers or even teach me... Then leaving home for now is worth the risk."
