Born a commoner in Haense Uther worked on his family's farm in the Hansetian outskirts learning the farmer's trade from his father as he reaped the harvest and brought his wheat to market. His formative years were spent in the fields, working the land on his family's meagre plot until his father grew ill. Realizing that his family was far too poor to afford the care his father needs Uther resolved to expand the farm and earn the money needed to get the necessary medicine. Nowadays Uther works tirelessly raising cash crops in the hope of gaining enough produce to branch off into husbandry as cattle are far more expensive than vegetables.
