Physical Description: Bran Oakwood stands 5'8" tall, with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He wears practical flannel shirts, canvas trousers, and sturdy leather boots.

Roleplay Scenario:

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

((How do you respond?))

"Expecting me? Dont know wHeRe I am! But, could really use some water! Sent off with my boy to get some fire wood, but some Bandits came at us! My boy, so quick, he jumped into the river, took him back yonder! I had to keep'in runnin' from them bandits, but they were too fast!
*Bran catches his breath*

"Got me held up in their cave for days, I say! Just got managed to get loose when I heard it comin' back for me. Wasnt but a few hours ago I left that place.."

"When I got back to seein' my village, it had all been raised to the ground.. I took the north trail till nightfall, wound up here at your shack!"

*Bran pauses for a moment while he takes in his surroundings*

"Eehh. Well im guessin' since its boogie night outside, I couldnt find a spare bed around these lands? Yall.. aint gonna eat me are yeh?"

 

*Bran takes a seat as he lets his guard down*

"My boy.. Im afraid I will not see him again. He be a strong lad.. I remember when I was a wee boy meself, that my Pah built our families village. Was a humble place for long long time, until the lands grew sour with bandits."

 

*Brans expression changes, is eyebrows furrowing*

 

"I cannot speak more of what I saw when I returned to my village.."

Example of metagaming (bad):
*Bran looks at the old lady with disgust* "Yeh be a witch! Cant trust you! You be turnin' people into chocolate!" (which I had happened to IRL learn about this character.. moments before..)

 

Example of powergaming (bad):

*Bran is startled by the old hag. He quickly and very ninja-like, removes his blade pouch and throws 3 or even 4 blades at the old hag.. killing her instantly.*

"Too bad I didnt even give her a chance to speak! Oh well.." *Bran chuckles*
