Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Sky stares in bewilderment at magics he's never seen before, candlelight dancing in his eyes. His gaze travels along the inside of the tent at the mysterious oddities and tomes that lay about before meeting the searching glance of the woman. "I'm Sky, and I... I'm lost." He takes a seat wearily and ponders his own thoughts for a beat, "I've traveled far from home trying to escape a past that will forever follow me. My wife was struck down at war, my son lost to the plague. I was too weak and poor to help either of them. This town has what most have; people who need to eat and good spots to fish. It's all I've got left now." The look in his eyes plead to her, begging her to change his fate.
