Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Nexus glances around the room before taking a seat at the cushion gestured too. “ i’m afraid I don’t know what you mean by ‘expecting’ me? I wasn’t aware that anyone knew I was going in this direction.” Nexus takes in the room once again this time in more detail, noting how warm it is, despite the tent seemingly being tattered on the outside, it is quite cozy on the inside. “ I’m simply a traveler nothing more, though I was told by a local to come to this tent to speak with you as soon as I arrived. May I ask why?”.
”Ah but a simple traveler you are not now are you?” The old woman says with a grin on her face.
