    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information you acquired out of the game, in game. For example, using cooking recipes you googled in the game to make food. Basically, breaking the roleplay to you advantage through use of intel you acquired out of character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming, in my words, is trying to be the center of the game, or manipulating the game to bring you benefits while keeping others below you. Taking advantage of the permissions given to you to make the game about you. For example, creating a roleplay scenario where everyone dies except you, and you get to take all of their stuff. Only benefiting you while negatively affecting everyone else involved, so you can get ahead in the game.
