    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when a player uses exterior knowledge to affect the game.An example could be "I talked to brad earlier and he said he was planning on killing his character off,so my character said to him *you’re going to die soon anyway why don’t you do it?
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when a player uses a character that has god-like abilities or no faults whatsoever. Such as a 1 legged character parkouring across the rooftops of the city flawlessly.

Barlow Bloodbeard was born in 1491 to a loving mother and a... difficult father to say the least. As he was growing up he knew his destiny was the army, at least that’s what his father’s been telling him all this time. His father had been training him for war and battle since his 10th birthday. on his 21st birthday his father gifted him a very special gift, a glorious set of custom armor made of some of the finest materials in the mines of Kaz’Ulrah, this paired with the sword his great grandfather had used in battle an age ago. Many months later his father was called to war by the great king, Barlow wished to go but his father said he wasn’t ready yet. Barlow asked when he would be, and his father only replied “When I fall.” Barlow thought that would be an extremely long time but it would happen sooner than he would expect, in fact his father would be mortally wounded in the next week, at the funeral Barlow swore to his father he would carry on his legacy and signed up for the honorable king’s army. He proved to be a natural leader and was promoted to a smaller leadership role controlling about 20 other soldiers. With this newfound leadership he would fight in many campaigns, but none would ever see as much bloodshed as the 3 Atlas-Coalition wars. He fought valiantly and murdered many enemy troops in favor of his king, but it would prove worthless when he saw the very kingdom he loved, disbanded and displaced along the continent. Now, he ventures forth around Atlas, doing any hard labor jobs he can find, sometimes a miner, sometimes a sellsword, but he was always able to support himself and have a comfortable lifestyle too. Though he feels the tentacles of the dwarven throne creeping up on him again to take arms for any king he sees fit enough to fight for. The only thing to do now is look for any sort of sign in life to pack up and go, and perhaps it shall be soon...

Physical Description: Short red hair that's clean, large, muscly body even for a mountain dwarf) red beard that has two braids. Never takes off his battle-wear, Green eyes.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
