    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using knowledge of the in-roleplay universe you acquired out of roleplay, in-roleplay, usually to some sort of advantage. An example would be if you were being CRPed, and you contacted your friends on discord to come save you. This is known as 'metarally'.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is making your character blatantly more powerful than socially acceptable- i.e. refusing to roll for encounters, making undodgeable emotes, dodging every emote, having an 'invisible forcefield'...

Edward Mith would step off the boat, leaning on his cane as he takes a few steps forward, arthritis-ridden joints creaking and cracking around him. At first, he wouldn't notice the man. Lupus has made his vision blurry, and an infection has made his ears weak. "Eh..? Hueh..?" The man would mutter, raising up his cane. "Beh.. Bah.. Grand, perspirations? I don't sweat! Not since my time in the war!" He would lash out and snap his wooden twig of a cane at the man, missing by a fair margin. "Bah! Beh! Get away! Get away!" Edward would holler, before taking a few steps forward, lowering his crane to the ground.
