Tom Gent is very peculiar man. Born in Presa De Madera with his brother Moncy, he's always had a knack for being a bit of a troublemaker. He stole to survive ever since he was a child and would do anything to keep him and his brother safe. A man with a glint of unsettling mischief in his eyes, a brawl, robbery, or general shenanigans are never far away. The varied culture of Madera suited him well, as there is always some tourist to swindle or lead into a back alley. A small glimmer of magic potential lies within Tom, although unhoned and weak, the potential is there. Tom and his brother had each-other's backs from even a young age, Tom being the brains and his brother being the muscle. His early years were defined by begging for Minas doing what he could to obtain a scrap of bread to keep his stomach quiet for the day. Cold rain would beat upon his haggard frame. Wind would pierce his lungs giving him coughing fits. This hardened his heart to others, creating a hollow shell of the boy he once was. Despite this he is not without kindness, the poor have a special place in his rugged heart. Once in a blue moon, he might be seen handing out money to those who truly deserve it, at least in his in his mind.
