    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is the horrid act of controlling the actions of any entity that is not your own. Such as another players fate.

Not much is known of Nolan's past as he is a man pretty shrouded in mystery. There are however some telltale signs that he has had quite a rough and poor upbringing. We know that whatever happened during the earlier years of his life, it molded him into quite a shady and mysterious individual. He has gained quite a reputation for his frequent deceptive nature towards the people that he meets on his travels, whether that is through scamming them with phony trinkets of forgotten times or using his friendly charm to lead trusted followers to an untimely end. He breaks the conventional code of what highlanders are known for, he is a lot more methodical and patient than most would first assume. He really carries no personal ties to anyone and tries to do things only for his own benefit, however, he is not incapable of forming a bond with other people. Often spending his time scouring the streets of Holm always looking for some quick coin to be made. Despite all of this he still carries his race with pride, often feeling giddy about how much of a strong highlander he is. He's not a bad fighter as his upbringing learned him a thing or two but he always makes a fight the last option if possible.

Physical Description: messy blonde hair, blue eyes with an average build. Standing at about 5"8, accompanied by red old-fashioned clothing, beige shorts, and plain shoes.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
