Gilly looks up, startled from her awe at the size of the city, but quickly remembers her manners. "Oh, 'Ello sir." She looks up at him with wide eyes, startled by his height. "I guess ye could say I'm adven'urin', sir, though I do 'ave a end in mind. I'm jus' passing through 'ere. It's so lovely, though. I've never been in a place before like this!"
The gentleman responds "Well, if you're looking for a guide you've come to right place, young miss! May I ask where you are headed?"
"Oh I-" Gilly looks around, unsure whether it is safe to share her destination with even one person who may help her or if she should stick it on her own. After a moment of deliberation, she spins a small falsehood, "I'm going ter visit some family; they're expectin' me and I know where to go, but thank ye kindly for your help, sir. But, if ye could tell me about this wonderful ci'y, I wouldn' be opposed to sticking aroun' a while."
"Certainly, Miss." Gilly follows the gentleman as he begins touring her around.
