Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Fern Elderwood, enjoying the smell of wet moss, walk's over and sits on the cushion getting himself comfortable, kicking his bare feet up on the table saying, "So, you want to know how I got here? Well where do I begin? Let's begin with my family. Back in my village, about 20 years ago, my family had a baby, me, but after a year or so my family got very sick, and I was very young, They ended up passing away and I was living alone and had to take care of myself. It wasn't easy but I am glad I went through it because I won't be the person I am today if I didn't survive on my own." He starts to tear up, sheading a few tears as he wipes them away. "Anyway, I am just trying to make a living and try to live a happy life. And that is my story." He stands up leaves being left where he sat. "Have a Fern Day!" He says as he exits the tent.
