Prophian helps tend the grounds of the Eternal library in Taliyna'maehr. Keeping mostly to himself, he goes about his work. In his free time he enjoys wandering the library reading whatever catches his eye. One day as he was reading y' horticulturist's guide a' plants en' numenenya Ceru (A horticulturist's guide to plants of western Ceru), Prophian became entralled by the words on the page. What started with a curiosity about some of the plants he cares for developed into a passion for alchemy and later the arcane. A recent accident with a candle and a 1000 year old scroll has the librarians more wary of his presence. Unlike Most of his kinfolk he is quite humble and lives very frugally. People know him as a friendly sort, but he has no close friends.

Physical Description: Pale, Hawkish face, alert blue eyes (though the bags under the eyes hint at sleep deprivation). Short white hair. He wears the robes of a scholar.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
