    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Poweregaming is the term given to when a player always tries to come on top, mostly used in pvp, pve and rp-pvp. For example, a player types :*Teleports behind MCVDK and stabs him in the back* or *Dodges the blow, teleports 10m away, does a 360 no scope a

The shouting of the streets and sound of wagons rolling over the cobble road could be heard within the walls of Senntisten all night and all day, stopping almost anyone from sleeping and you'd be unlucky to have a house near these roads. Arzael and the Taleantes family lived in such house and therefore they did not have much privacy when it came to being at home, often Arzael and Royden played somewhere else to be more private and yet always ended up walking home angry at each other. You couldn't really say Arzael and Royden had the best relationship as children and always ended up fighting with each other and most of the times ending with one of them having a bleed nose or a new wound to their collection. Years passed by with these sorts of events and as they started to get their military training it slowly started to become more of a solid brother relationship, yet it didn't take long before Arzael left as the military duties, as the duties of the military did not interest him at all. Royden stayed within the training and therefore slowly became both stronger and taller then his older brother and while Royden took care of the military duties, Arzael helped the family within their family bussiness. Arzaels family have always been followers of the Canon, yet the two brothers never really having taken their parents high religous views and therefore they do not often speak about the religion.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Alright then,

 

Powergaming; Powergaming is when you force a thing upon another players persona, it is when you take your character and emotes so they do not have any change to repeat. Example; Arzael would walk out and stab the man, making him fall to the ground and slowly bleeding out. (This is powergaming). Arzael would walk out and pull his knife, attempt to stab out towards the man. (This gives the other player the opportunity to defend themself, and protect their persona)
