Millamber observed the man and spoke, “I honestly have not a clue where to start.” In a charming accent he then said, “Maybe you could point me in the direction of a cozy pub or inn?” As Millamber walked with the man, something struck him as odd. For his attire made the guide look more like a jester than a tour guide for the city. “You know what, if you could just point me in the way of my destination, I shall not trouble you anymore.”
The man looked angry, as if there was a reason he was leading him this way. Although he looked troubled, he shook the comment off and led him into a dark alleyway.
“I don’t want to get you into too much trouble jester, but if there is any reason you are leading me into some sort of trap, my long sword and you might want to give you a quick query...”
Millamber unsheathed his sword just as the florescent man scurried away from the battle ready man. Millamber backed up slowly until he was out of the alley and sheathed his long sword. He turned to a meat vendor.
“Would you happen to know the location of a pub or inn? I am ravenous and could use a nap from my travels.”
